SPRINGFIELD – An Agawam man has denied a charge of involuntary manslaughter related to a heroin overdose death in Westfield. Bail was set at $5,000 cash for Anthony Broden, 35, at his Hampden Superior Court arraignment on Jan. 30. He is charged with involuntary manslaughter, distribution of heroin and distribution of fentanyl.
