Steven Gonzalez 2012 First Degree Murder Conviction Upheld by Supreme Judicial Court

December 30, 2015 -Springfield, MA- Hampden District Attorney Anthony D. Gulluni announced today the 2012 murder conviction of Steven Gonzalez has been upheld by the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.

Hampden District Attorney Anthony Gulluni stated, “I am pleased to announce the affirmation of the 2012 murder conviction. The dedicated and commendable work by the office’s appeals unit, headed by ADA Jane Montori, is evident with this decision.”

Steven Gonzalez was convicted of first degree murder for an execution style shooting of Alexander Gautier on Locust Street in Springfield in 2008.

Assistant District Attorney Deborah D Ahlstrom successfully represented the Commonwealth in the appeal.
