Suspect Under Arrest in Palmer Stabbing

February 12, 2019 -Springfield- On February 11, 2019, the Palmer Police Department responded to a 9-1-1 call for a reported stabbing on Old Warren Road in Palmer. Upon arrival officers discovered a male suffering from an apparent stab wound.  

The suspect, identified as Kelsey Gaulin, 27, of Palmer, was taken into custody and charged with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, and Domestic Assault and Battery.

Kelsey Gaulin will be arraigned today in Palmer District Court.

The Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit assigned to the Hampden District Attorney’s Office was called to assist due to the severity of the victim’s injuries. The victim was transported to Baystate Medical Center; he is likely going to survive.

The incident remains under investigation by the Palmer Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police.
