June 11, 2019 -Chicopee- On Sunday, June 9, 2019 members of the Chicopee Police Department responded to 2 Springfield Street for a report of shots fired.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a victim of the shooting, Mr. Charles White, 27, of Springfield, who appeared to have suffered multiple gunshot wounds, was deceased.

This is an on-going investigation being conducted by the Chicopee Police Department, the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit assigned to the Hampden District Attorney’s Office, and the Hampden District Attorney’s Office’s Murder Unit.
