September 11, 2017 -Springfield- On September 11, 2017 the Chicopee Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit Assigned to the Hampden District Attorney’s Office responded to suspicious death in the vicinity of 229 Bemis Road in Chicopee.

Responding officers observed that it appeared the deceased had been shot multiple times.

The victim has been identified as Mr. Jafet Robles, 33, of Springfield.

This is an open and active homicide investigation currently being conducted by the Chicopee Police Department, the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit Assigned to the Hampden District Attorney’s Office, the Massachusetts State Police Crime Scene Services Section, and the Murder Unit of the Hampden District Attorney’s Office.

Hampden District Attorney Anthony Gulluni expresses his sympathies to Mr. Robles’ family during this difficult time.
