April 14, 2016 -Springfield, MA- Hampden District Attorney Anthony D. Gulluni, State Fire Marshal Peter J. Ostroskey, Bondsville Fire Chief Scott Gustafson and Acting Palmer Police Chief John Janulewicz announced today the identity of the victim from the April 8, 2016 fire at 3055 Pine Street in Palmer. The fire took the life of 69 year-old Curtis Penoyer.

The fire was jointly investigated by the Bondsville Fire District, Palmer Police Department and State Police assigned to both the Office of the State Fire Marshal and the Office of the Hampden District Attorney.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
