February 28, 2025 – Holland, Massachusetts – On Wednesday, February 26, 2025, in the afternoon hours, there was a heavy police presence in the 100 block area of Union Road in Holland, Massachusetts. Upon State Police arriving to the scene, a body was recovered in connection to a missing persons investigation conducted by the Worcester State Police Detective Unit.

This is an ongoing investigation by the State Police Detective Unit assigned to the Hampden District Attorney’s Office, State Police Detective Unit assigned to the Worcester District Attorney’s Office, Sturbridge Police and Holland Police. Identification will be forthcoming pending positive identification and next of kin notification. There is no ongoing threat to the public.
