February 26, 2025 – Chicopee, Massachusetts – On Saturday, November 23, 2024, at approximately 6:40 p.m., Chicopee Police Officers responded to a call regarding a motor vehicle versus pedestrian collision at the 1500 block of Granby Road in Chicopee, Massachusetts. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim. The victim was transported to Baystate Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.

The victim has been identified as Edgar Francisco, 72, of Chicopee.

This remains an ongoing investigation by the Hampden District Attorney’s Office Motor Vehicle Homicide Unit in conjunction with the Chicopee Police Department.
