March 4, 2025 – Springfield, Massachusetts – At approximately 3 a.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2025, Springfield Police Officers were dispatched to the 0-100 block of Allen Park Road. When officers entered the home, they located two gunshot victims. 

An adult female succumbed to her injuries on scene. An adult male was transported to Baystate Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

The female victim has been identified as Leslie Westbrook, 54, of Springfield.

This remains an ongoing investigation by the Springfield Police Department Homicide Unit under the direction of Captain Trent Duda in conjunction with the Hampden District Attorney’s Murder Unit.
