December 8, 2025 – Springfield, Massachusetts – Hampden District Attorney Anthony D. Gulluni has identified the victims in a double homicide–suicide discovered on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025, inside a residence on State Street in Springfield.

At approximately 9:50 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 25, Springfield Police officers responded to a home on the 1400 block of State Street for a reported stabbing victim. Upon gaining entry, officers located three deceased individuals: two adult males and an adult female.

The victims have been identified as:

• Khamkieo Chingvacha, 67, of Springfield
• Sachivanh Phomphanh, 47, of West Hartford, Connecticut

The third individual, identified as Kung Kedjumnong, 43, of West Hartford, Connecticut, is believed to have fatally stabbed both victims before taking his own life.

This remains an active investigation being conducted by the Springfield Police Department’s Homicide Unit under Captain Trent Duda and the Hampden District Attorney’s Murder Unit. Investigators have determined there is no ongoing threat to the public.
