Wales Police and Fire Departments Respond to Unattended Death

October 19, 2018 -Wales- On Wednesday, October 18, 2018 officers from the Wales Police and Fire Departments responded to residence on Brows Beach Drive for a medical emergency.

Upon arrival first responders located a unconscious male, 57, of Wales, inside the residence.

The male victim was transported to Baystate Wing Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Due to the lack of a criminal investigation into the matter the Office of the Hampden District Attorney declines to publicly identify the victim.

The incident remains under investigation by the Wales Police and Fire Departments, the Massachusetts State Fire Marshal’s Office, the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit assigned to the Hampden District Attorney’s Office, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner,

Hampden District Attorney Anthony D. Gulluni offers his sympathies to deceased’s family during this difficult time.
