DA’s Office Hosting Mayflower Marathon Collection in Wilbraham

November 18, 2025 – Wilbraham, MA – Continuing a proud tradition of community service, the Hampden District Attorney’s Office will once again join forces with the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit assigned to the DA’s Office for this year’s Rock 102 Mayflower Marathon— a beloved annual food drive supporting Open Pantry Community Services.
In support of this effort, the Hampden District Attorney’s Office will host a community collection event on Saturday, November 22, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Big Y, 2035 Boston Rd. in Wilbraham. Members of the public are encouraged to stop by and drop off nonperishable food items.
All items collected during this event will be delivered by members of the DA’s Office and State Police Detective Unit to the Mayflower Marathon site on Tuesday, November 25.
“Now more than ever, it’s important that we come together as a community to support one another,” said District Attorney Anthony D. Gulluni. “The Mayflower Marathon embodies the generosity and spirit of Western Massachusetts, and we are proud to once again partner with Rock 102 and our local residents to make a difference for families in need this holiday season.”
In addition to the public collection, employees within the Hampden District Attorney’s Office are also contributing to the drive through an internal office-wide effort.
In the month of September alone, the Open Pantry Community Services’ Emergency Food Pantry provided life-sustaining groceries to over 3,600 individuals, approximately 1,600 families in need.
For those unable to attend the Wilbraham collection, donations can be made directly during the Mayflower Marathon at MGM Springfield between November 24–26, or online at https://smoc.org/support-us3/.
