August 26, 2025 – Holyoke, Massachusetts – The Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit assigned to the Hampden District Attorney’s Office and the Holyoke Police Department are investigating a motorcycle v. motor vehicle collision that occurred in the afternoon hours of Monday, August 25, 2025.

At approximately 2:40 p.m., Holyoke Police Officers responded to the intersection of Lyman St. and N. Bridge St for a report of a motorcycle v. motor vehicle collision. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from significant injuries. The individual was transported to Holyoke Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.

This remains an ongoing investigation by the Hampden District Attorney’s Motor Vehicle Homicide Unit in conjunction with the Holyoke Police Department.
