Victim in Fatal Motorcycle Collision in Holyoke Identified

September 2, 2025 – Holyoke, Massachusetts – The Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit assigned to the Hampden District Attorney’s Office and the Holyoke Police Department are investigating a collision involving a motorcyclist being struck that occurred in the afternoon of Monday, August 25, 2025.

At approximately 2:40 p.m., Holyoke Police Officers responded to the intersection of Lyman Street and N. Bridge Street for a report of a motorcyclist being struck. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from significant injuries. The individual was transported to Holyoke Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries. 

This individual has been identified as William Brunault, 66, of South Hadley, Massachusetts.

This remains an ongoing investigation by the Hampden District Attorney’s Motor Vehicle Homicide Unit in conjunction with the Holyoke Police Department.
