June 24, 2025 – Springfield, Massachusetts – On Monday, June 23 at approximately 10:30 a.m., Springfield Police Officers were notified of a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian on Bay and Bowles Street. Upon arrival, officers located a female victim with severe injuries. The victim was transported to Baystate Medical Center where she succumbed to her injuries. 

The victim has been identified as Annabelle Rufino, 57, of Springfield, Massachusetts.
