June 13, 2023 -Springfield- Adrian Perez, 19, of Springfield has been charged and arraigned in connection with a double homicide o Union Street in Springfield. He was arraigned in Springfield District Court and is currently held without the right to bail. His next scheduled court date is on July 14, 2023.

The victims in theJune 7, 2023 shooting inside an apartment on Union Street have previously been identified as Mr. Alexander Rodriguez, 19, of Springfield and Mr. Khidhr Moultrie, 40, of Springfield.

At 12:00 a.m. on Wednesday June 7, 2023 officers from the Springfield Police Department responded to an apartment on the 200 block of Union Street for a report of two deceased people. 

Once on scene officers entered the apartment and located two deceased individuals who appeared to have suffered from gunshot wounds. 

This incident remains under investigation by the Springfield Police Department’s Homicide Unit and the Hampden District Attorney’s Office’s Murder Unit.
