On September 22, 2013, 25 year- old Adriana Bonet was shot as she stood with two male friends near MJ’s Pizza Restaurant on Worthington Street in Springfield.  After a verbal exchange one of three men all dressed in red, approached Bonet and her friends and opened fire.  She was transported to Baystate Medical Center where she died shortly after surgery.
