April 18, 2016 -Springfield, Mass- District Attorney Anthony D. Gulluni is sponsoring a summer job fair and 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament this Monday at the Springfield Boys and Girls Club. The day will offer a fun and safe environment for young people to come have fun as well as learn about employment opportunities this summer.

The job fair will be conducted before the tournament and will allow participants to meet with potential employers as well as practice resume building.

Hampden District Attorney Anthony Gulluni stated, “Studies have shown that summer jobs help to reduce violent crime among youths. By assisting our young people in accessing summer employment it will have a positive impact on them now by keeping them safe during summer as well as providing them with a positive experience they can carry with them into adulthood.”

Before the tournament begins participants will have the opportunity to hear from District Attorney Anthony Gulluni and former UMass Men’s Basketball star Lou Roe.
