Seth Lombard-Hawthorne Indicted on Manslaughter in Connection with Westfield Overdose Death

March 22, 2016 -Springfield MA- The Office of Hampden District Attorney Anthony D. Gulluni announced today the grand jury indictment of Seth Lombard-Hawthorne, 22, of 5 Meadow Street, Apartment 1, Westfield, MA. He has been indicted by a grand jury in Hampden Superior Court on a charge of Involuntary Manslaughter in connection with the death of Ms. Lillian Anderson, 16, of Westfield, MA.

 On February 6, 2015, Massachusetts State Police detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office were called to investigate the unattended death of Ms. Lillian Anderson, 16, of Westfield, MA. During the course of the investigation both the Westfield Police and Massachusetts State Police became aware of Lombard-Hawthorne as the potential individual who provided heroin to Ms. Anderson.
 
Hampden District Attorney Anthony Gulluni stated, “I would like to thank both the Westfield Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police detectives who are assigned to my office for the quick and thorough investigation which led to the arrest of Seth Lombard-Hawthorne.” D.A. Gulluni went on to say, “For those who wish to profit from addiction, take notice, you will be aggressively prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”  
 
In addition to the charge of Involuntary Manslaughter, Lombard-Hawthorne has also been indicted on: Distribution of a class A substance (heroin) to a minor, Possession of a class A substance (heroin), Distribution of a class B (fentanyl) substance to a minor, and Possession of a class B (fentanyl) substance. 
 
Seth Lombard-Hawthorne will be arraigned in Hampden County Superior within the next couple weeks.
