Thirty-four Under Arrest After Week Long Sweep of Springfield Hot Spots

June 28, 2019 -Springfield- Hampden District Attorney Anthony Gulluni announced today the arrest of 33 individuals after a week long operation conducted in the City of Springfield.

Hampden District Attorney Anthony D. Gulluni stated, “This multi-agency task force was designed to disrupt and reduce known public safety threats in our neighborhoods. This was made possible by a unique collaboration between federal, state, and local law enforcement for which I am very grateful. We work together to create safer streets.” District Attorney Gulluni went on to say: “All people, in all neighborhoods deserve to live safely, free from any concern of violence or danger. To those who seek to disrupt this public safety and commit acts of violence, you will face members of law enforcement. We have proven that in the last week, and will continue to do so throughout the summer to ensure everyone’s health and safety.”
