April 22, 2022 -Springfield- On Friday, April 15, 2022 at approximately 10:05 p.m. the Springfield Police Department responded to 1000 block of Worthington Street for a report of a shots fired.  Responding officers located an adult male, who appeared to be suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to Baystate Medical Center were he was pronounced deceased.

The victim has been identified as Mr. Karmari Alexander, 21, of Springfield.

This is an on-going investigation being conducted by the Springfield Police Department’s Homicide Unit, and the Hampden District Attorney’s Office’s Murder Unit.
