Later this year Attorney Berger will mark twenty-five years of service in the Hampden District Attorney’s Office.  Currently, ADA Berger is Chief of the Grand Jury/Intake Unit.  In this role she supervises a division that is responsible for initially processing cases coming into Superior Court as well as initiating and presenting all Grand Jury proceedings.  Attorney Berger’s unit is directly involved in almost every case prosecuted in Hampden Superior Court. This requires her to work closely with all law enforcement agencies in Hampden County, which frequently commends her thoroughness and tireless pursuit of justice.  Attorney Berger’s long work hours and around the clock availability to prosecutors and police officers make her an invaluable employee and deserving of this recognition.
