College Highway Crash in Southwick Results in a Fatality

May 9, 2019 -Southwick- On Wednesday, May 8, 2019 the Southwick Police Department responded to a crash involving a motorcycle and motor vehicle in the vicinity of 707 College Highway.

It appears the operator of the motorcycle crossed into the lane of on-coming traffic and struck a pickup truck traveling in the opposite direction. The operator of the motorcycle was found deceased at the scene of the accident.

The deceased is a 23 year old male from Agawam.  

The crash remains under investigation by the Southwick Police Department, the Motor Vehicle Homicide Unit of Hampden District Attorney’s Office, the Massachusetts Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner
