Hampden Police Respond to Fatal Main Street Crash

July 31, 2018 -Springfield- On Tuesday, July 31, 2018 officers from the Hampden Police Department responded to Main Street for a reported fatal single vehicle. The Hampden District Attorney’s Office’s Motor Vehicle Homicide Unit responded to the scene as well.

The vehicle’s sole occupant, a 52 year old male from Palmer, was found unresponsive. He was taken to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield where he was pronounced deceased.

Due to the lack of a criminal investigation into the matter the Office of the Hampden District Attorney declines to publically identify the victim.

Hampden District Attorney Anthony D. Gulluni offers his sympathies to deceased’s family during this difficult time.
