Holyoke Homicide Investigation Continues

May 15, 2019 -Holyoke On Tuesday, May 14, 2019 members of the Holyoke Police Department responded to the vicinity of Jackson and Clemente Streets in Holyoke at approximately 1:46 p.m. on reports of shots fired. Upon arrival officers discovered a victim suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield where he was pronounced deceased.

Paul Paradzinski, 67 of Holyoke, who remained at the scene, has been taken into custody. He is currently charged with Murder.

A suspected interaction between the suspect and victim seems to have occurred prior to the shooting at Doc’s Used Cars in South Holyoke.

The Victim has been identified as Mr. Aribertic Rodriguez, 20, of Holyoke.

This is an open and active homicide investigation currently being conducted by the Holyoke Police Department, the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit assigned to the Hampden District Attorney’s Office the Murder Unit of the Hampden District Attorney’s Office, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, and the Massachusetts State Police Crime Scene Services Section.
