Second Suspect Arrested in North End Homicide Investigation

April 14, 2016 -Springfield, MA- Hampden District Attorney Anthony D. Gulluni announced today the arrest of a second suspect in the murder investigation of Jeffrey Freitas. Matthew Hastings, 17, of Ludlow, Ma was arraigned today in Springfield District Court on a charge of murder. Hastings is currently being held without the right to bail.
