November 23, 2016 -Springfield, Ma- At approximately 8:50 a.m. on Tuesday morning the Hampden District Attorney’s Office’s Motor Vehicle Homicide Unit along with the Springfield Police Department responded to the scene of a pedestrian crash in the parking lot of 385 Liberty Street in Springfield.

The victim of the pedestrian crash has been identified as Mr. Michael Vandenburgh, 37, of Springfield, Ma.

Hampden District Attorney Anthony D. Gulluni offers his sympathies to Michael’s family and friends during this difficult time.

No further information is available at this time as the investigation into the incident is on-going.
